Better You, Better Mom

Have you ever given a thought of taking better care of yourselves after being a mom?

Soon after the delivery, the main focus of everyone is our child.That is obvious.  Right?
Everyone may forget to ask how you are doing. ( i dont know about c-section).
Newmother's usual schedule will be like Busyfeeding, diaper change,sleepless nights,back pains. Most of the time, we forget to take care about ourselves. Is that will make you a better mom? Definitely No,,,,

The definition of SELF CARE is different for every moms. Some like a relaxing spa, some like sleeping,some like to talk with friends, & some other like just to sit alone for sometime. Honestly, i am in the last category, where i simply want to sit quiet for sometime.

We, moms,always make self care as the last priority. But it could be doing more harm than good for you as well as baby.

Benefits of Self care:
• Physically strong
• Emotionally strong
• Happy mom equal to happy baby and   happy family

Self care techniques worked for me:
• Get enough sleep
• Eat regularly
• Drink plenty of water
• Get some quiet "me -time"
• Ask for help (partner,parents)
• Do something you love
• Do some exercise/watch movies / hear   music

Moms,Start taking time for you,,,
No excuses ,,, definitely ,it will make you a better MOM...By giving self care as priority does not mean you are not taking care of others who are depending on you. It just means if you only have enough energy, you can take care of others too.
